Books On Real Estate
There is so much money to be made in real estate, and the following is a list of the best books to ensure your success.
The author of this book, Gary Keller, is apart of one of the biggest real estate companies in the United States. He breaks down everything you need to know in order to become a successful real estate agent. The first part of the book is dedicated to teaching his readers the mindset of a successful agent. This is a major key to becoming a successful agent and Keller makes sure to be thorough with explaining exactly how a successful agent thinks. Keller then dives into the specifics of succeeding in real estate, this includes leads, listings, and leverage. He also claims that if you want major success as an agent you must treat it as a business and not as a side hustle.
The premise of this book is focused on getting into the rental property portion of real estate. The author gives his readers a step by step break down on how he was able to build his current real estate portfolio to 44 owned units. Unlike some real estate "gurus" this author is very realistic and realizes that becoming a successful real estate investor is a long and hard process. With that being said, this book has some of the best information you'll find on the topic of rental property investing. This book offers value not only for beginning investors but it also has a ton of value for the more experienced investors.
Building Wealth One House at a Time is a great introduction for buying rental properties. John Schaub gives his readers a very useful and easy to read guide on the process of buying, renting, and eventually selling real estate properties. If you're looking for a very light, easy to read, and applicable book on the subject of real estate investing, this will be the perfect starters guide for you.
In his book, Brandon Turner explains several creative ways one is able to finance a house with little to no money down. He also explains that while it may be possible to buy properties with little to no money, it is a very risky process and is definitely a skill that can be acquired. Another great piece of knowledge for those who are interested in becoming new real estate investors, with little to no money.
This book is argueably the best and most practical book when it comes to real estate investing. J Scott is a very seasoned real estate investor who actually has a website that goes further into depth with his personal investing experiences, unlike many people in this category that simply give hypothetical examples. Due to his intense real life experience he is able to provide many practical scenarios and examples that will save his readers both time and money. This is the perfect starting point for future real estate investors. If you choose one book from this category I would highly reccomend you choose this one.
