Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the website www.bookchanging.com (”BC”) owned by Green Future Solutions (”We”, “we” and “us”). These Terms and Conditions also apply to the various products and services, including all books, products, information, communications, links, software, electronic newsletters, services, directory listings, advertisements, other materials and any and all other services that may be added, offered or provided to you from time to time (”Products and Services”) through BC.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before proceeding to access BC or before ordering any products from BC. Your use of BC indicates your agreement to abide by the Terms and Conditions in effect.

These Terms and Conditions may be revised or updated from time to time. Your continued use of BC shall be deemed and construed as your conclusive and binding acceptance of the revision or updated terms.

Ordering

You can place an order for products by email at hello@bookchanging.com or through the shopping cart. You shall be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the quantity and terms of any order submitted by you, and for giving us any necessary information to enable us to deliver the products to you in time.

No order submitted by you shall be deemed to be accepted by us unless and until confirmed by email or phone by us.

You can cancel your order by email within 1 day from submitting your order. We unfortunately cannot cancel your order if it has been processed.

Delivery

We only accept orders that are billed and shipped to locations within Singapore, and only deliver on Tuesdays and Fridays (exclude public holidays) from 10am to 5pm. We will call or email you to arrange a delivery time.

If you fail to take delivery of the products or fail to give adequate delivery instructions after the delivery arrangement, we may cancel the order and refund to you the price of the products less the cost of their delivery.

We will try to ensure the products listed are always in stock. If a product is not in stock, we will let you know when it will be available for delivery.

We offer free delivery for orders above S$100. A delivery fee of S$5 is charged on orders below S$100.

Payment

We only accept Cash on Delivery. Please ensure that you have the exact cash amount for payment upon delivery.

Returns

If the product you received from us is defective, we will accept returns within 30 days of the sale date and issue a full refund if accompanied with the original receipt and the product in an unused condition and in its original packaging. We unfortunately cannot accept returns if the 30-day period has expired or if the defect is due to your negligence.

Disclaimer

All Products and Services in BC are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of such Products and Services and expressly disclaims liability for errors or omissions in such Products and Services.

The Products and Services by BC may be modified, deleted or replaced from time to time and at any time.

Exclusion of Liability

We shall in no event be liable for any damages, loss or expense including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special or consequential damage or economic loss arising from or in connection with:

(a) Any use of Products and Services from BC or from any other website linked to BC;

(b) Any access, use or the inability to access or use BC, or reliance on the contents of BC;

(d) Any use of or access to any other website linked to BC.

BC contains links to other external third party websites. We do not guarantee, approve or endorse the information, products and/or services available at these third party websites, nor does a link indicate any association with or endorsement by us. Our inclusion of advertisements and directory listings for a third-party site or service does not constitute an endorsement.

We do not operate or control and have no responsibility for the information, products and/or services found on any external sites. It is up to you to assume complete responsibility and risk in your use of any external sites.

Intellectual Property Rights

The copyright in BC is owned by us. This excludes material which are stated by us that the copyright belongs to a third party. No part or parts hereof may be reproduced, distributed, republished, displayed, broadcast, hyperlinked or transmitted in any manner or by any means or stored in an information retrieval system without the prior written consent of us. You also may not, without written permission from us, insert a hyperlink to BC on any other website or ‘mirror’ any material contained on BC on any other server.

All trademarks, service marks, logos and any other marks whatsoever are used for the benefit of their respective owners and are not intended to infringe the trademark of any such person.

Submission of Contributions

We may provide facilities on BC to permit you to submit any contribution (including but not limited to any text, comments, forum posts, graphics, video and/or audio content, and other materials or information) (”Submissions”) to us or to BC directly. You are solely responsible for your own Submissions, and BC only acts as a passive conduit for the online distribution and publication of your Submissions.

By submitting your Submissions, you agree as follows:

(a) You will not include any content in your Submissions that is or could be unlawful, defamatory, offensive, obscene, dangerous or false, or any content that is protected by copyright or other intellectual property right, without first obtaining permission of the copyright owner or rights-holder, or any content that contains any viruses, bugs or other harmful elements;

(b) You hereby grant to us unlimited rights to use, distribute, reproduce, and disclose your Submissions as we deem appropriate, without compensation or acknowledgement of its source. This does not apply to material which are stated by us that the copyright belongs to a third party;

(c) You will not assume a false identity or the identity of another user when using BC, and you will not use BC for any unlawful or illegal activities, including but not limited to spamming, harassing or otherwise causing distress to other users.

We shall have the right to remove or delete any Submissions contributed to BC that we find to be in violation of these terms or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate without having to assign any reason therefore.

If you submit or provide any personally identifiable information through BC, you acknowledge and consent to us collecting and using such information for various purposes, including without limitation, verification and record of your personal particulars, comparing it with information from other sources, to communicate with you and/or to send you information and promotional material about BC or third party organisations selected by us.

Governing Laws

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore laws and any dispute arising out of the use of the Site shall be referred to the Singapore courts.
